Custom 3D Printing FAQ

How much does custom 3D printing cost?

Pricing depends on the model size, printing time, material, quantity, complexity and any preparation required. Send your file and project details for an accurate quote.

Which file formats can I send?

STL and 3MF files are commonly used for 3D printing. STEP files and other design formats may also be helpful for reviewing certain projects.

Can you print a single part?

Yes. One-off custom parts and prototypes are welcome, as are repeat orders and small production runs.

Can you copy a broken replacement part?

Some replacement parts can be recreated when clear dimensions and suitable reference information are available. Feasibility depends on the shape, function, tolerances, material and safety requirements.

How long will my order take?

Turnaround varies by project size, quantity, material, current workload and whether the file needs adjustment. Timing will be discussed during the quote process.

Which material should I choose?

PLA works well for many models and indoor projects, while PETG is often chosen for durable functional parts and TPU for flexible components. We can recommend an option after learning how the part will be used.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes. Pickup is available by arrangement at 14 Elrose Ave., Toronto, inside Fine Auto Repair. Pickup hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Do you also repair 3D printers?
